With the crazy few weeks we've had, I never got a chance to talk about Thanksgiving. It's a bit late, but here's a recap.
We flew up to Minneapolis to spend a couple of days with the family in Red Wing.
Thanksgiving Day itself started like this...

It went a bit like this...
Then it ended like this...
On Friday, after a little Black Friday flannel-sheet shopping at Target (yes, I'm wild), we attended the "lighting" ceremony in downtown Red Wing. As always, it was cute and quaint.
Oh, it was also cold.
What a sweet little town.
There was some Christmas-tree auctioning going on at The St. James Hotel. Will got in on the action, then realized flying with a Christmas tree back to New Orleans probably wouldn't be fun. Or possible.
So, there you have it. Next up, Christmas festivities!
